Glasses Guardian is an iOS app developed by Rebrandmint LLC ("we", "us", "our"). The app helps you keep track of your Bluetooth-enabled smart glasses using Bluetooth Low Energy and your device's location services. Glasses Guardian is an independent third-party app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any glasses manufacturer.
We do not collect any personal data. The app does not require an account, does not transmit data to our servers, and does not share data with third parties.
The app does store the following information locally on your device only:
This data is stored in iOS's standard UserDefaults system and never leaves your device. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all of it.
The app uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to:
The app only connects to the specific pair of glasses you select during pairing and does not scan for, identify, or connect to any other Bluetooth devices around you.
When you grant location permission, the app uses your GPS location solely to:
Your location is never transmitted off your device. Address lookups are performed using Apple's on-device geocoding services.
The app runs limited background activity to monitor your glasses' connection status and send you local notifications if they disconnect. All background processing happens on-device.
The app does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or SDKs. No data about your use of the app is sent to anyone.
All data is stored locally on your device. You can clear your disconnect history at any time from the Settings screen in the app. Uninstalling Glasses Guardian permanently removes all locally stored data.
Glasses Guardian is not directed at children under 13. Because the app does not collect any personal information from any user, it does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Because no data leaves your device, the security of your data depends on the security of your iPhone. We recommend keeping iOS up to date and using a passcode or Face ID.
